Part-Time Pharmacist Job Description

Job Summary:

At Crisp Cannabis in Bridgeport, CT, we are at the forefront of the cannabis industry, offering exceptional products and services to both medical and recreational customers. As we open our new hybrid dispensary in Bridgeport, Connecticut, we are seeking dedicated pharmacists to join our team. This is an opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven company where your expertise will be valued in providing outstanding patient care and service.

Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and personalized guidance to patients on product selection, dosing, consumption methods, and product information.
Address patient inquiries, issues, and concerns, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Resolve patient-related issues in accordance with company policies.
Contribute to a positive and welcoming environment for all patients.
Conduct clinical counseling and monitor patient progress, adjusting recommendations or dosing based on feedback.
Assist in training team members on product knowledge to ensure they provide informed recommendations tailored to patients’ medical needs and preferences.
Participate in educational sessions to enhance understanding of cannabis pharmacology, patient interaction, and compliance standards.
Assist in maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as physicians, patients, and community leaders.
Help prepare educational materials and presentations as needed.
Stay informed about the latest developments and innovations in the medical cannabis space.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state laws.
Adhere to PII (HIPAA Compliance) regulations and maintain patient privacy.
Support retail sales efforts and contribute to fostering patient loyalty.
Assist in inventory management, including product intake, and maintaining accurate regulatory reporting and sales records.
Uphold high operational standards within the dispensary.
Ensure the timely and accurate dispensing of patient orders in relevant systems, including seed-to-sale, POS, and PMP (if applicable).
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for both patients and staff.

Qualifications:

A Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license in the state of Connecticut.
Strong knowledge of the retail and pharmacy landscape.
Experience working in a highly regulated industry is preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on patient care and confidentiality.
Flexibility with scheduling, including availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Previous experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.
Familiarity with state cannabis regulations is beneficial.
1-3 years of experience in retail pharmacy is preferred.

Physical Demands: The employee must stand for an eight-hour shift, use hands and fingers, talk, and hear. They will frequently stand and walk, occasionally sit, climb, or balance, and lift/move 15 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionally. The job requires close and distant vision.
