Full Job Description

Founded in 1958, Jonard Tools® manufactures tools for the Telecom, CATV, Fiber Optic, Home Automation, Security & Alarm, and Electrical markets. Jonard Tools designs and engineers patented products by utilizing customer partnerships to create innovative solutions for industry needs. New tools are released each month and are all Made For Life® with lifetime warranties. Through quality and innovation Jonard aims to move the industry forward and connect the world.

We're growing our supply chain team and looking for a detail-oriented coordinator to help keep our product pipeline moving smoothly from purchase order to delivery. The Supply Chain Production Coordinator owns production lifecycle coordination — keeping products moving on schedule from purchase order through delivery — and supports that work through documentation and systems, quality and warranty follow-up, shipping and customs, and internal coordination. This role plays a supporting part in vendor communication overall, serving as the direct point of contact for a select set of vendors. The role works closely with product development, product management, warehouse, and operations teams, and reports to our Supply Chain Manager. This is a full-time in office position.

Responsibilities

Production Lifecycle Coordination

Track products after purchase orders are placed and follow up with vendors to keep production on schedule
Lead project management for new product launches and reorders, from purchase order through delivery
Maintain status documentation for new products (final sample, first carton, and bulk shipment ETAs/actuals) and reorder products (ETA and actual shipment dates)
Push to keep deliveries on time to meet vessel shipping timelines
Manage communication with select vendors; oversee timelines and logistics for key projects
Manage inbound shipment records and arrival dates in NetSuite, keeping documentation current as schedules change
Cross-functional coordination with Product and Marketing teams to ensure timely purchase order placement; coordination with operations and warehouse teams to prepare for incoming inventory
Resolve shipments held in customs by providing required documentation
Provide internal procurement support across departments, including IT purchasing — sourcing quotes, placing orders, and tracking delivery

Documentation & Systems

Maintain status documentation for new products (final sample, first carton, and bulk shipment ETAs/actuals) and reorder products (ETA and actual shipment dates)
Manage inbound shipment records and arrival dates in NetSuite, keeping documentation current as schedules change
Prepare and report import and export documentation to support compliance recordkeeping
Maintain a vendor scorecard tracking price, quality, communication, innovation, and lead time/delivery performance, including repeat QC infractions

Quality & Warranty

Track recurring quality issues and work with vendors to identify root causes and improvement plans
Manage warranty claims with vendors and create VRA returns for warranty repairs
Coordinate third-party inspections as needed

Shipping, Customs & Logistics

Coordinate logistics and shipping compliance for importing products from other countries, including obtaining quotes and selecting shipping methods
Manage customs documentation and clearance for inbound shipments, resolving shipments held in customs by providing required documentation
Manage EU transfer orders in partnership with our EU logistics contact
Track and coordinate shipments with our third-party logistics (3PL) provider

Internal Coordination

Coordinate with Product and Marketing teams to ensure timely purchase order placement
Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to prepare for incoming inventory
Attend the daily morning warehouse operations meeting and respond to delivery and supply inquiries
Provide internal procurement support across departments, including IT purchasing — sourcing quotes, placing orders, and tracking delivery

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in supply chain, production coordination, procurement, or a related field
Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple vendor relationships and timelines simultaneously
Experience with inventory/ERP systems
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with product development, product management, operations, and warehouse teams
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, plus general proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of import/export shipping operations and customs requirements
Experience coordinating with overseas manufacturing partners or import/export logistics
Bilingual in Mandarin strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system
Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management tools
