Full Job Description

Kropp Environmental Contractors, Inc. seeks a bookkeeping professional with Quickbooks™ experience to fill a key accounting, bookkeeping and AR/AP role in our Business Operations team. Construction-related business experience is preferred, but not essential. We prefer a minimum of three years experience, but will consider someone with less experience who can demonstrate Quickbooks™ knowledge and familiarity. Essential required experience: Demonstrate mastery of Microsoft Office programs, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable: data entry, management of supplier inquiries
Accounts Receivable: data entry, reconciliations, posting payments
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Payroll Management including knowledge of prevailing wage: ensuring compliance with regulations
Tax Compliance; Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, maintaining and prepping tax documents for filing and the managing of tax payments
Journal entries
Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
Financial Analysis, forecast performance, provide insight to management
Staying Current with Accounting Standards and Regulations
