Full Job Description

We are seeking a full-time permanent Physical Therapist to work an outpatient Orthopedic clinic in Niantic, CT. Open to new grads! Please see details below -

Full-time: Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p, or 8a-4:30p

Pay: Open to discussion - mainly based off years of experience in the field and role. Production bonuses are offerred quarterly.

Physical Therapist License/Certificate upon hire
Ideally, prior experience in an outpatient Ortho setting

Tasks -

Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self management and assistive equipment.
Communicates with physicians and other healthcare personnel as appropriate regarding patient care issues.
Reviews available medical records and obtains pertinent medical history from patient or family.
Evaluates each patient using age and diagnosis appropriate assessment tests and measurements, including appropriate outcome assessment tool(s).
Determines plan for care, and/or appropriate therapeutic interventions to achieve stated goals.
As appropriate / required, completes required outcome tools and any additional documentation for outpatients, acute stroke patients and for specialty units/programs
Utilizes available resources (equipment, support personnel, educational resources) to maximize efficiency and productivity and to meet personal developmental needs.
Willing to be cross-trained to treat any diagnosis or level of care.
