Full Job Description

We’re hiring a Tax Manager!

At Magone & Company in Parsippany, NJ, we’re not your average CPA firm. We’re a tech-savvy, growth-focused team where you’ll have the opportunity to lead engagements, strengthen client relationships, and develop the next generation of tax professionals.

What you’ll get:

Ownership of individual, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and other business tax engagements
Direct responsibility for managing client relationships and providing proactive tax guidance
Exposure to multi-state and international tax matters

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; master’s degree in Taxation or a related field is a plus
7+ years of progressive tax experience, including recent public accounting experience
Active CPA license required
Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance and planning
Experience reviewing complex individual and business tax returns
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and client relationships
Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing team members
Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and tax preparation software
Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills
