D. Environment and Demands
1. Environmental Demands:
Multi-tasked individual who is able to coordinate the responsibilities of dealing with the Performance Improvement Committee and physicians while assisting as needed with the responsibilities of the Medical Staff Administration office.
2. Essential Physical and Cognitive Demands, Manual Dexterity:
Concentrate on information in busy office setting whereby interruptions and flow of “people traffic” is constant. Distribution of handouts, files and paperwork, which may include but is not limited to food, audio/visual equipment and binders. Use of computer, transcription equipment, fax and copier.

C. JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:
1. Provide the required administrative and secretarial support for committee/departmental meetings, which include, but not limited to: Executive Performance Improvement Committee, Performance Improvement Committee, Orthopedic Departmental meeting.
2. Recording and transcription of minutes.
3. Provide administrative and secretarial support for the Director of Orthopedics.
4. Provide administrative support for Performance Improvement Manager.
5. Data entry of all Core Measures which include SCIPS, HF, AMI and Pneumonia.
6. Update and maintain physician quality assurance files.
7. Assist with special projects as so required within the Medical Staff Administration and Credentialing Areas.
8. Duties as assigned.
