Job Summary
Rock'n R Ranch is seeking a dependable, experienced Ranch & Vineyard Operations Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping a diverse agricultural operation running smoothly.This position supports both our working cattle ranch and vineyard operations. We're looking for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, confident leading crews, and willing to jump into whatever the day requires.Responsibilities
- Oversee daily ranch and vineyard operations
- Supervise and coordinate vineyard crews
- Plan daily work schedules and keep projects on track
- Daily livestock care and general ranch operations
- Fence building, repair, and maintenance
- Operate tractors, mowers, ATVs/UTVs, and other ranch equipment
- Pasture mowing, weed management, and property maintenance
- Irrigation monitoring and general vineyard maintenance
- Equipment maintenance and basic mechanical repairs
- General construction, repairs, and seasonal agricultural projects
- Maintain an organized shop, equipment, and work environment
Qualifications
- Previous ranch, vineyard, farm, or agricultural experience required
- Experience leading crews and managing daily workflows
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience operating tractors and agricultural equipment
- Basic mechanical and repair skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt as priorities change
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
