A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a
MBSE Systems Engineer
Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
Location: Hazelwood, MO -Onsite
As a
MBSE Systems Engineer
, you will:
- Support/lead system architecture development and decomposition using MBSE (SysML/Cameo) to define interfaces, functions, and allocation across multiple domains.
- Support/lead cross-functional engineering teams in developing systems to meet program commitments, including support of design reviews.
- Support/lead the program in implementing MBSE as part of broad digital engineering ecosystem.
- Support/lead Systems Engineering efforts such as requirements decomposition, system architecture, system analysis, specification development, trade studies, program planning, interfaces management, risk management, certification planning & execution, verification & test planning, and overall integration and capture them in the MBSE model as appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Any Advance Degree in STEM Classification (Technology, Engineering, Computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry).
- 5+ years of System Engineering experience.
- 3+ years of Experience with MBSE tool such as DODAF or Magic Draw or Cameo/MSOSA.
- Must be eligible to obtain Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualification:
- Military program experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing system architectures for complex aerospace vehicles or their subsystems.
- Prior leadership in system architecture or lead systems engineering roles; experience communicating architectural tradeoffs to stakeholders and customers.
- Understanding of various engineering analyses, including affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success
- Familiarity with aircraft/flight systems and domain-specific engineering (ME, EE, SW) to evaluate integration impacts.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $70/hr to $80/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
