Join the exciting world of facades at Universe Corporation.

About Universe:

For more than 20 years, Universe has been a national leader in facade system engineering and fabrication, headquarters located in St. Louis, MO.

Fabrication happens on our state-of-the-art CNC machines in either St. Louis, MO or Las Vegas, NV.

We specialize in high-end fiber cement, high pressure laminate, and aluminum composite wall cladding in combination with our in-house developed attachment systems. We are specialists in navigating fire codes, wind loads, structural requirements, and seismic performance.

We are currently very busy and seeing favorable market growth, hence we need to expand our resources in estimating with another ambitious Facade Estimator.

Universe Facade Estimator Description:

You will be instrumental in identifying, calculating, and presenting the best solution for our customers. You will collaborate with our external Facade Specialists to negotiate with the customer to secure the project.

Today, the high performing team consists of four (4) Facade Estimators.

Your future at UNIVERSE will start with a very thorough, but hands-on training on our three (3) primary facade materials. After the training, your primary role will be to:

Evaluate and markup architectural drawings to identify and clarify the extent of our scope using Bluebeam Revu.
Use CAD software to complete a thorough panel takeoff identifying quantities and components.
Price the project utilizing our proprietary Intellibid® system via Microsoft Excel.
Create a quotation summarizing our scope and system using Microsoft Word.
Work closely with our sales team to anticipate technical problems (such as material optimization, missing information, and non-compliance with codes) and provide solutions to present to our customers.
Provide continuous support to the sales team and customers through the bidding and rebidding process.
Convey project specific notes to the project engineer upon award of the project.

You will work in a team environment and will always have access to additional resources and mentorship from an experienced colleague.
