- Sign-On Bonus $5,000 (for eligible applicants)

- 9 Hour Shifts, 4 Days Per Week
- 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Call Rotation Required (1 Day Per Week & Every 9th Weekend)
- Weekend Rotation (Only On Call Every 9th Weekend)
- Holiday Rotation Required (1 Day Per Year)
- $$ 5% Differential on top of base rate for IR certification $$
Overview
Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The Radiology Department at Missouri Baptist Medical Center is a full-service, diagnostic center dedicated to delivering the highest quality imaging services to our patients and their physicians. We provide competent, courteous and compassionate clinical services, and respond to requests for services from patients and referring physicians promptly. Role Purpose
Performs all responsibilities of a Advanced Modality Technologist and assumes responsibilities of the Lead Tech in their absence. Assists in the development and training of students and/or new employees. Senior Advance Modality Technologist must have 3 or more responsibilities within the following categories: hospital/department initiatives, patient experience and employee engagement, quality assurance, process improvement and mentorship. Performs all responsibilities under the direction of lead/charge of advanced modality technologist.
Responsibilities
- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
- Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
- Assists with regulatory compliance for the department (ACR, JC). Maintains up-to-date regulatory information. Oversees department quality assurance program under the direction of the Clinical Instructor or Lead/Charge.
- Participates in department or hospital safety/quality process improvements and initiatives. Leads the team in improving patient experience and/or improving employee engagement.
- Mentors new employee and/or clinical students under the direction of the CI.
- BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
