Full Job Description

We are Hana Kitchens, and we host cooking classes and dining events in our onsite venues. We are looking for a culinary experience specialist.

Position Type: Part-Time with Full-Time Potential

Compensation: $23/hour + tips (infrequent for public events and classes, often for private events)

Schedule: Mostly every Friday + Saturday 4:00pm - 9:30pm, and possible Sundays / Saturday afternoons + possible other weekdays (private events). We will let you know the schedule the month before, and could ask you to help with last minute private events if they are booked. Eventually, we are hoping to have 4+ events per week.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Culinary Experience Specialist and Event Attendant, you will play a pivotal role in the execution of our cooking classes and private dinners. Your responsibilities will include:

- Serving groups of 14 - 30 people in both cooking classes and private dinners, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests.

- Forming strong relationships with our class instructors and chefs to effectively collaborate and support them during classes and events.

-Providing a high level of hospitality, catering to the needs and preferences of our guests to exceed their expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Willingness to undergo training and learn new skills related to running cooking classes and events.
