Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Data and Evaluation Coordinator serves as Dream Youth Clinic's lead staff member for organizational data management, reporting, evaluation, and performance measurement. This position ensures the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of data systems used to track program outcomes, clinical services, grant deliverables, and organizational impact.

The Data and Evaluation Coordinator works closely with program, clinical, operations, and leadership staff to collect, analyze, and communicate data that informs decision-making, demonstrates impact, supports compliance, and advances Dream's mission of providing youth-led health and wellness services.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesData Systems Management

Serve as the organization's AthenaHealth superuser and primary point of contact for reporting and system optimization.
Maintain organizational databases, spreadsheets, reporting systems, and data tracking tools.
Develop and implement data collection procedures and documentation standards.
Conduct routine audits to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Troubleshoot data system issues and provide technical support to staff.
Recommend improvements to data systems and workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Reporting and Compliance

Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports for leadership, funders, and partners.
Track and monitor organizational reporting deadlines and deliverables.
Support collection, validation, and reporting of grant and contract outcome data.
Assist with audits, monitoring visits, and compliance reviews.
Maintain reporting calendars and reporting documentation.
Ensure organizational data is submitted accurately and on time.

Evaluation and Performance Measurement

Develop and maintain organizational dashboards and performance reports.
Define, track, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across programs and services.
Analyze trends, service utilization, participant engagement, and outcome data.
Support implementation of evaluation plans and quality improvement initiatives.
Assist leadership in measuring organizational impact and effectiveness.
Support annual impact reporting and strategic planning efforts.

Data Analysis and Visualization

Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Create visual reports, dashboards, scorecards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Translate complex data into accessible information for diverse audiences.
Develop data summaries and recommendations to support organizational decision-making.

Staff Training and Technical Assistance

Train staff on data collection procedures, documentation standards, and reporting expectations.
Develop written guides, procedures, and reference materials related to data systems.
Provide ongoing technical assistance to staff regarding reporting and data management.
Support onboarding and training of new employees related to organizational data systems.

Organizational Support

Support administration and analysis of participant, staff, and community surveys.
Assist with preparation of board reports and organizational presentations.
Participate in staff meetings, supervision, trainings, and organizational planning activities.
Support the delivery of organizational activities in alignment with Dream's mission and strategic goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired

Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Data Analytics, Statistics, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum two years of experience in data management, evaluation, reporting, or program administration.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Commitment to equity, youth development, reproductive justice, and trauma-informed practices.

Preferred

Experience working in nonprofit, healthcare, public health, behavioral health, or youth development settings.
Experience with AthenaHealth or other electronic health record systems.
Experience supporting grant reporting and outcomes measurement.
Experience with Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
Familiarity with HIPAA, data privacy requirements, and quality improvement methodologies.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to interpret and communicate data to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Strong project management and time management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
Commitment to serving diverse youth and communities.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
Ability to occasionally lift and move materials up to 25 pounds.
Ability to travel between Dream Youth Clinic locations as needed.
