Process Server – Fayette County (Independent Contractor)

Essential Responsibilities
· Travel throughout Fayette County, Tennessee to serve civil court papers to individuals.
· Log all delivery attempts through a mobile app.
· Complete paperwork with accuracy.
· Manage and prioritize jobs in order to consistently meet deadlines.
· Scan and upload documents to company portal as needed, no more than once per week.
Time Commitment & Scope
· Set your schedule and be your own boss. Work can be done Monday through Saturday.
· Your estimated time commitment could range anywhere from 5 to 20 hours per week.
Fees
· Expect to earn on average between $32 and $64 per hour worked.
· All work miles driven using your personal vehicle can be deducted from federal income tax at the rate of $0.725 per mile.

Qualifications/Requirements
· Process service experience is not required but is a plus. Orientation and learning opportunities are provided.
· College degree preferred, but not required.
· Reliable vehicle and valid auto insurance.
· Reliable smartphone.
· Able to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record, and drug/alcohol screening.
