Job Summary

SHIFTS HIRING FOR:

Lodi: (MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE SCHEDULE BELOW)

11am-10pm Sunday, 2p-10p Thursday and Fridays (27 hours/week total)

2 DSPs to work a rotating 2 week schedule, as follows:

Overnights can sleep on this shift from 10pm-6am.

10pm-8:30am Sunday and Monday, Friday 10pm-11am. (34 hours)
10pm-8:30am Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (31.5 hours)

Medina: (MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE SCHEDULE BELOW)

Awake overnight shift:

Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday 8:30pm-8:30a and every Tuesday overnight 10:30p-8:30a

Wadsworth: (MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILIBILITY)

Overnight shift:

Overnights can sleep on this shift from 10pm-6am.

Fridays 10pm-8am
Weekends 8pm-8am

Afternoon shifts:

M-F 3pm-10pm
M-F 3:30pm-8:30pm
Weekends 8am-8pm

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Lodi, Medina, and Wadsworth to empower individuals with diverse needs to live fulfilling, independent lives. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance, promote safety, and foster a supportive environment for residents of various care settings. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve, ensuring they receive respectful, attentive care in a nurturing atmosphere. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day through active engagement and compassionate support.

Duties

Assist people with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary
Monitor residents’ health and reporting changes to healthcare professionals promptly
Assist with medications
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking activities that meet dietary needs and preferences
Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards
Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
Engage residents in social activities and community outings of their choosing
Document observations, care activities, and incident reports accurately to ensure seamless communication within the team

Qualifications

Certification in CPR and First Aid is required, but we can train
Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks such as transferring residents using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices
Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach toward individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight hours as needed
A valid driver’s license may be required for community outings or transportation duties

All of the individuals that are in need of DSPs have requested female caregivers.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
