Full Job Description

HR Mango is hiring for a client seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative consumer products from concept through production. This role focuses on creating safe, reliable, and cost-effective electrical systems for products in the outdoor, DIY, and food equipment industries.

Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical design projects from concept through manufacturing
Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Prototype, test, troubleshoot, and validate electrical systems
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing teams
Select electrical components, motors, heating elements, and control systems
Support manufacturing, testing procedures, and production readiness
Ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards
Drive continuous improvement in product performance, reliability, and cost

Qualifications

6+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in consumer products, appliances, food equipment, or related industries
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar electrical CAD software
Experience taking products from concept through production
Strong background in power systems, motor controls, and component selection
Hands-on prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting experience
Experience working with domestic and overseas manufacturers
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with motor selection, heating systems, and thermal management
Knowledge of UL, ETL, CSA, CE, and other applicable certifications
Passion for outdoor, DIY, or consumer products
