Tax Associate
Ocala, Florida

Jones Networking is recruiting for a Tax Associate to join a growing and inspiring Accounting Firm in Ocala, FL. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of tax accounting experience, be motivated to learn and grow, and thrive in a collaborative environment. The Firm offers excellent growth opportunities, health benefits, and PTO.

Tax Associate Responsibilities:
- Learn and utilize various software programs essential to the Tax Department
- Assist with tax return preparation, tax research, tax planning, and tax projections
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns with guidance as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax documentation and requests
- Support senior team members with tax projects and client engagements
- Assist with invoicing clients for work performed
- Maintain accurate workpapers and documentation
- Build and maintain positive client relationships
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve processes and efficiency within the Firm
- Participate in professional development opportunities and continue expanding technical knowledge

Tax Associate Requirements:
- 1+ years of tax accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and motivated to take initiative
- Desire to build a long-term career within the firm
