Full Job Description

Ofab is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Customer Service/Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced office environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong computer proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, and provide friendly, professional customer service.
Return customer calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
Enter sales orders accurately and create, update, and confirm work orders using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and production software.
Print, organize, and assemble work orders for production.
Enter and maintain pricing information on sales orders.
Verify order details to ensure accuracy and completeness before processing.
Maintain organized filing systems for efficient record keeping and document retrieval.
Perform data entry and general administrative support duties.
Review data regularly to ensure proficiency and maintain data integrity.
Assist with basic office operations and complete additional administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous customer service and data entry experience preferred.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and database software.
Experience with ERP systems or order entry software is a plus.
Excellent typing, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for verifying quantities, processing orders, and calculating time cards.
Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team.
