Title Escrow Manager
All American Land Title has been providing professional settlement services for real estate purchases, construction loans and refinances in our community for over 25 years. Escrow Processor Responsibilities:
· Establishes escrow account by receipting in all escrow funds. Ability to manage escrow deposit timeline requirements and provide clear communication with all parties regarding initial escrow deposit, cash to close and wire instructions.
· Assist lenders with their funding and closing conditions.
· Ability to work independently as well as with closing agent on all files to balance, obtain funding approval and close transactions accurately.
· Closes escrow account by balancing and disbursing funds by issuing checks and transmitting wires.
· Prepare bank deposits to be submitted to the operations department.
· Will handle all archive requests as related to funding and/or other escrow items.
· Will provide quality customer service while answering client phone calls and work to assist with client needs in a helpful and professional manner.
· May be responsible for completing monthly reconciliations for all escrow accounts.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Two years of experience in the title industry with a minimum of one year in Escrow
· High school diploma or equivalent; however, AA degree or upper-level certification desired.
· Ability to read a real estate contract and identify all parties within a real estate transaction: buyers, sellers, listing agents, selling agents, lender etc.
· Must possess the ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
· Must posses strong problem-solving skills.
· Ability to consistently meet deadlines, demonstrate strong follow-through and follow departmental procedures.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation in written forms of communication. Must be able to accurately proofread completed work.
· Must possess strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
· Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced, highly detailed, and deadline-oriented environment.
· Maintains professional level of confidentiality following all regulatory guidelines and requirements.
· Ability to work independently and with team members with a willingness to assist where needed.
· Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry is desired but will train the right candidate.
· Accuracy and efficiency in Keyboarding and data entry.
· Ability to pass a background check
· Spanish speaker desired but not required
COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS:
· Office 365 Suite
· Qualia Title software desired but not required.
Must have solid, verifiable references.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
