Full Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Liability Adjuster, Litigated and Non litigated. Position is a desk position remote work from home. Florida Residency is required. Position is full time, 5 days a week.

Litigation Specialist desk role with oversight of liability claims that are both non-litigated (active investigation) and litigated.

Mediations, when applicable, minimal exposure to trial travel but must be willing if called to be Corporate representative on a claim.

This role must evaluate liability, damages, and exposure using policy language, statutes, case law, and industry standards. In some instances, coverage issues are present, and this role would be assigned the coverage split file to draft letters to various claims parties and communicate with the liability team to ensure an adequate field investigation is performed.

Required Qualifications:

The role requires at least eight (8) years of property claims experience, with 4 of those being specifically in property damage and bodily injury claim investigations.
Must possess a FL Adjusters License
Florida residency required.

Desired Experience:

Recent or extensive 3rd party liability claim handling - both front-end desk adjusting and litigation handling
Mediation handling (this role attends their own Mediations)
Complex claims handling (Fatalities, Catastrophic injuries, coverage disputes, mold injuries, large exposures, priority of coverage, etc)
Liability investigation involving bodily injury and property damages liability
Handling of time and detail sensitive demands
Citizens Property Insurance experience a plus.
