Job Title: Laboratory Quality Control Technician

Location: Ambit Chemical Technologies, Gulfport, Mississippi

Job Summary:

Ambit Chemical Technologies, a leader in specialty chemical manufacturing and precision toll blending, is seeking a dedicated Lab Quality Control (QC) Technician. Join our team in Gulfport, Mississippi, and play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our chemical products. You'll be part of a dynamic team in a company that values innovation, quality, and the well-being of its employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished products using various laboratory equipment.
Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards and specifications.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and procedures.
Implement and uphold safety guidelines and procedures in the laboratory.
Participate in the development and validation of new testing methods.
Provide technical support and guidance to other departments regarding quality control aspects.
Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in quality control and chemical analysis.

Qualifications:

Experience in a quality control laboratory, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and understanding of laboratory safety protocols.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
