Full Job Description

The Finance Director is responsible for leading the Finance & Insurance (F&I) operations across our six dealership locations. This leadership role oversees all Finance Managers, driving profitability, compliance, process consistency, and an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate is an experienced automotive finance professional with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams, improving operational performance, and leading multiple locations through coaching, accountability, and strategic leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop Finance Managers across all dealership locations.

Drive F&I profitability through performance coaching, reporting, and KPI management.

Standardize finance processes and ensure consistency across all stores.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, lender, and manufacturer regulations.

Monitor finance performance, product penetration, funding, CIT, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Conduct regular deal audits and identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, product providers, and dealership leadership.

Develop and deliver ongoing training focused on compliance, product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and customer experience.

Partner with General Managers and Sales Managers to support dealership growth and financial performance.

Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

5+ years of automotive Finance & Insurance experience with demonstrated leadership success.

Multi-store or regional F&I leadership experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of indirect lending, finance products, compliance, and dealership operations.

Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing Finance Managers.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Experience with Tekion, RouteOne, Dealertrack, or similar dealership systems preferred.

The successful candidate will build a high-performing F&I organization that delivers consistent profitability, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and an outstanding customer experience across all dealership locations.
