Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) Day and Night Opportunities Available

Join a growing Hospital Medicine team dedicated to delivering high-quality inpatient care in a collaborative, physician-led environment. We are seeking Nurse Practitioners and /Or Physician Assistants who are passionate about hospital medicine and working closely with physician partners to provide exceptional patient care.

Daytime Hospitalist APP Schedule

7 Days On / 7 Days Off
Tuesday through Monday rotation
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Approximately 175 shifts annually (25 weeks per year)

Position Highlights

Primary responsibility is inpatient admissions under physician supervision
Assigned to work with one Hospitalist Physician each week
APPs admit exclusively for their assigned physician
Average admission volume of up to 10 patients per 12-hour shift
Join an established team of four daytime Hospitalist APPs
Strong physician collaboration and mentorship

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient admissions
Obtain histories and physical examinations
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physician
Order and interpret diagnostic studies
Coordinate care with consultants, nursing, and ancillary services
Complete timely and accurate medical documentation
Participate in discharge planning and care coordination

Nocturnist Hospitalist APP Schedule

7 Days On / 7 Days Off
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Position Highlights

Provide overnight support for the Hospital Medicine service
Perform inpatient admissions under physician supervision
Collaborate closely with the on-duty Hospitalist Physician
Manage new admissions and urgent patient evaluations as needed
Work in a team-oriented environment with physician backup and support

Responsibilities

Complete overnight admissions
Evaluate and manage acute patient issues
Perform patient assessments and documentation
Coordinate care and communicate with physicians and nursing staff
Assist with overnight patient management and transitions of care

Qualifications Required

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Eligible for state licensure
DEA certification or ability to obtain
Current BLS and ACLS certification

Preferred

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP/ACNP) certification preferred
Previous Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, or inpatient APP experience preferred

Pay: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
