Full Job Description

JOB TITLE: CDL - Owner Operator- Crude OIl

LOCATION: Gonzales Tx

POSITION REPORTS TO: Operations Manager / Dispatch Manager

COMPENSATION: Bi-weekly Settlements between $8,000- $12,500.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely transport Crude Oil
Follow all delivery instructions and complete documentation in a timely manner
Ability to connect/disconnect hoses, and operate pumps/valves for safe Crude loading and unloading
Document and record driving via an ELD device
Perform pre - trip and post trip inspections on vehicles and report any mechanical/safety issue(s)
Follow all DOT/FMCSA regulations including those applicable to the transportation of hazardous materials
Follow all company policies and procedures
Ability to interact and communicate with customers in a respectful and professional manner

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Possess a valid Class A CDL with endorsements for Tank Vehicle "N" and Hazardous Materials "H"
3 years of CDL hazmat driving experience
3 years of bulk tanker liquid hauling experience
At least 25 years of age
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Have a safe driving history, with no major MVR or PSP violations in the last 3 years
Pass DOT physical and drug screening
Able to communicate in English, written and verbal
Able to work any shift
Able to bend, stoop, kneel, pull, push & lift all types of hoses, equipment and tools to complete the necessary tasks.
Able to climb ladders to check holding tanks on top of equipment.
Must be able to sit and remain alert while driving for a period 11 hours.
Must be able to enter and exit truck cab multiple times per day.
Must be able to reach above shoulder level; bend at waist level & below waist level for maneuvering and directing the controls to operate the truck.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time in all types of weather (i.e., hot weather, wind, rain and cold weather).

PREFERRED

Experience working in refined petroleum products, crude oil, tanker and/or chemical.

Pay: $15,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month
