Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of all equipment and systems. As a leader in facilities management, you will supervise a team of technicians, manage maintenance schedules, and implement preventative maintenance strategies. Your expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, and project management will drive operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance initiatives that enhance productivity and safety across the plant.

Duties

Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing work environment.
Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance plans for machinery, HVAC systems, electrical panels, and other facility equipment using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools.
Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Oversee the installation, repair, and calibration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage, and high voltage systems to ensure optimal operation.
Manage maintenance projects from planning through completion, coordinating resources, timelines, and safety protocols.
Conduct routine inspections using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose electrical faults or mechanical failures.
Ensure compliance with safety standards related to electrical work (including high voltage), industrial maintenance practices, and facilities management regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and inventory levels within the CMMS system.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime by scheduling preventive maintenance during planned shutdowns or low-production periods.
Lead emergency response efforts for equipment failures or safety incidents to mitigate risks promptly.

Skills

Proven management experience leading maintenance teams within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and system manuals.
Extensive electrical experience covering low voltage systems, high voltage safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated manufacturing processes.
Experience with CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking.
Knowledge of HVAC systems as part of facilities management responsibilities.
Excellent supervisory skills combined with project management capabilities to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Fluency in English with effective communication skills for team coordination and reporting purposes.
Ability to interpret schematics accurately using tools like ohmmeters for diagnostics.
