DENCO Security is a locally owned security company with more than 50 years of experience protecting homes and businesses throughout Northern Utah. We are looking for a Client Account & Growth Coordinator to join our office team.
This is a new position with an important purpose: take better care of the customers we already have while helping DENCO grow.
You will work with existing customers, review their accounts, identify problems before they become bigger issues, make sure they are being billed correctly, and identify opportunities where additional security services could genuinely benefit them.
Responsibilities
Customer Account Management
- Contact existing customers to verify account information.
Monitoring & Account Audits
- Review overnight trouble signals and follow up with customers when appropriate.
- Audit monitored accounts to make sure the services we pay our vendors for are actually being used and properly billed to the customer.
- Identify & correct services that are inaccurate.
- Help identify missed revenue opportunities.
Customer Protection Reviews
- Talk with customers about their current systems and how well it meets their needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve protection, such as additional sensors, smoke/CO detection, water detection, cameras, video doorbells, smart locks, cellular communication, or other security features.
- Schedule a security review or sales appointment when a customer has a larger upgrade opportunity.
- Follow up on recommendations to make sure customers receive the information they need.
Quality Control
- Help identify recurring errors or process problems.
- Bring problems to management's attention before they become expensive mistakes.
- Review customer accounts for accuracy and completeness.
- Help resolve customer issues and coordinate follow-up when needed.
- Maintain accurate records in our account management systems.
The right person is:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable talking with customers on the phone
- Professional, friendly, and confident
- Good at asking questions and listening to customers
- Comfortable working with computers and learning new software
- Able to follow detailed procedures
- Good at finding discrepancies and solving problems
- Able to manage multiple tasks without losing track of details
- Comfortable identifying sales opportunities without being pushy
- Reliable and willing to take ownership of their responsibilities
Security Industry Experience
Security industry experience is helpful but not required.
We can teach you our systems, equipment, monitoring services, and procedures. What we cannot easily teach is attention to detail, accountability, communication skills, and the ability to build trust with customers.
Experience in any of the following would be a plus:
- Security or alarm industry
- Customer service
- Account management
- Dispatch or scheduling
- Inside sales
- Billing or account reconciliation
- Service coordination
- CRM or customer management systems
