We are seeking an exceptional Quality Assistant/QC Inspector which has a significant role within the Quality department. This is a full-time onsite position reporting to the Quality Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, maintaining quality results/data and approving production rooms and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with batch record requirements and documentation of production operations
- Inspect and sample raw materials
- Perform physical testing of raw materials and finished products as required
- Assist with audits, inspections and monitoring programs as direct
- Ensure proper identification and monitoring programs as directed
- Inspect and disposition labels and components
- Provide technical support to operations and other departments as necessary
- Conduct first article inspections
- Approval or rejection of production rooms and equipment
- Approval or rejection of labels and components
- Approval or rejections of batch records
- Activities related to the overall quality of the products during the manufacturing process
- Adhere to all company policies/procedures and regulatory requirements, ensuring a safe, compliant, and audit-ready work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience
- High school graduate or general education degree (GED) required.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a quality control role in a food or dietary supplement GMP controlled environment preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal skills required.
- Self-starter with a sense of urgency.
- Detail oriented.
- Good planning and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
