Job Description:
Borsight’s Technical Communications & Marketing Coordinator serves as a critical link between engineering teams, program leadership, and external stakeholders by transforming complex aerospace and defense‑related information into clear, professional, and impactful communications. This role combines high‑level technical editing with creative design, marketing strategy, and event coordination to support Borsight’s mission of advancing avionics modernization for Department of Defense (DoD) customers.
The Coordinator will develop, refine, and manage formal technical documentation, maintain corporate branding and marketing collateral, oversee digital outreach channels, and support the planning and execution of trade shows, symposiums, and customer‑facing events. This is a high‑visibility position with significant cross‑department interaction and strong long‑term growth potential into corporate communications leadership, proposal management, or marketing strategy roles.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess 3–5 years of professional experience in technical writing, engineering communications, digital media production, graphic design, or a related communications discipline. Strong proficiency with document design, templating, technical editing, and visual communication tools is required. Experience working within aerospace, defense contracting, avionics, software development, or military environments is highly desirable.
A bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Graphic Design, or an equivalent field is preferred. Equivalent hands‑on experience within technical industries may be considered in lieu of formal education. Experience working with DoD documentation standards, Technical Orders (TOs), engineering artifacts, or government deliverables is a significant advantage.
Candidates must demonstrate excellent written communication skills, expert‑level competency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams while meeting strict delivery timelines. U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must be eligible to obtain or maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Edit, format, and polish technical deliverables including software documentation, engineering reports, Technical Orders (TOs), interface control documents, and materials supporting engineering drawings.
· Develop, standardize, and maintain professional style‑based templates in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint that meet USAF, DoD, and internal formatting standards.
· Create and refine technical schematics, system diagrams, workflows, and architecture graphics using Microsoft Visio.
· Ensure all technical documentation meets established quality standards, contractual requirements, and Borsight’s internal review and submission processes.
· Design high‑quality marketing collateral including product briefs, capability statements, brochures, trade show materials, and digital assets using Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools.
· Maintain and enforce brand consistency across all external‑facing communications, ensuring alignment with Borsight’s corporate identity and industry expectations.
· Manage Borsight’s corporate website by updating content, posting news, refreshing product information, and maintaining current marketing materials.
· Draft, schedule, and publish professional social media content—primarily on LinkedIn—to highlight corporate milestones, program successes, new offerings, and event participation.
· Plan and coordinate trade show and event presence, including booth logistics, scheduling, shipment of materials, and readiness of promotional items, hardware displays, and collateral.
· Support traveling teams to ensure all event materials are prepared, current, and compliant with brand and program requirements.
· Collaborate closely with engineering, program management, and executive leadership to support communication needs across the company.
· Maintain expertise in Borsight’s communication processes, engineering workflows, and business systems to ensure high‑quality and reliable output.
· Perform additional communications, marketing, and documentation duties as assigned to support program and organizational objectives.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to climb ladders, stoop, bend, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds as required for trade show and event support.
Conditions of Employment:
All Borsight employees serve in positions that have access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), classified information, or are involved in national security, health or safety, or functions other than the foregoing require a high degree of trust and confidence. To that point, all Borsight employees are subject to random facility perimeter control efforts to deter and detect the introduction or removal of classified information from Borsight’s secured facility. This policy and conspicuous signage posted throughout Borsight’s facility serve as legal notice to all employees entering or exiting Borsight’s facility are subject to inspection. This role requires eligibility for a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
All Borsight employees require a pre-employment drug screen and a background check and are also subject to random drug screening during the duration of their employment.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
