Priority Pet Care Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Office Manager to help lead our privately owned urgent care hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves both people and animals and enjoys creating systems, coaching employees, and ensuring the hospital runs smoothly every day.

Working alongside our Practice Owner, you'll serve as the on-site leader responsible for supporting our team, overseeing daily operations, and helping us continue building an outstanding culture centered around compassionate patient care and exceptional client service.

This is a full-time position with clinic hours Friday-Tuesday 9am-7pm. Because we provide urgent care services when many primary care hospitals are closed, this position requires team members to work either Saturday OR Sunday every week.

What You'll Do

Staff Leadership & Human Resources
Lead day-to-day operations of the support staff
Hire support staff in partnership with the Practice Owner
Train new team members and coordinate ongoing training
Develop training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Recognize employee achievements and boost team morale
Scheduling & Staffing
Ensure lunches and breaks are covered appropriately
Client Experience
Troubleshoot operational issues throughout the day
Front Desk Support
Assist with answering phones and checking clients in/out when needed
Support the team during high-volume urgent care periods

Interested in growing with a practice for the long term

Preferred Qualifications

1-2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
Previous experience in a veterinary hospital strongly preferred
Experience with veterinary practice management software is a plus
Comfortable handling scheduling, coaching employees, conflict resolution, and daily operational responsibilities
