Full Job Description

Sanctuary Wadsworth is a 5-Star skilled nursing facility seeking an experienced nursing home Business Office Manager to join our leadership team. We are seeking a highly organized, systems-oriented leader who can oversee business office operations, support human resources functions, and partner with facility leadership to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate has prior skilled nursing facility experience, hands-on HR experience, advanced PointClickCare knowledge and strong revenue cycle understanding.

What You'll Do

Oversee resident billing, collections, insurance verification, and revenue cycle processes.
Manage Medicaid pending processes and financial admission reviews.
Coordinate resident trust accounts and business office compliance requirements.
Support onboarding, employee records, personnel file management, and HR compliance.
Assist with benefits administration, unemployment claims, workers' compensation administration, and employee status changes.
Partner with the Controller on payroll-related processes and labor reporting.
Develop and maintain efficient business office systems and processes.
Support the facility's PointClickCare administrator and be an internal support resource.
Support PCC user setup, permissions, security access, workflows, troubleshooting, and training.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of skilled nursing facility business office experience.
Prior experience with Medicaid pending, billing, collections, and insurance verification.
Previous HR, personnel administration, or employee onboarding experience.
Strong knowledge of SNF operations and regulatory requirements.
Advanced PointClickCare experience required.
Previous experience serving as a PointClickCare administrator, super-user, or facility resource strongly preferred.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of SNF business office experience.
Experience supporting HR functions in a healthcare setting.
Experience training staff on PointClickCare workflows and processes.
Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement.
