Job Summary:
The Automotive Parts Counter Associate is responsible for providing accurate, timely, and professional parts support to technicians, service advisors, and customers. This role supports the Parts and Service Departments by managing parts inventory, assisting with orders, and ensuring smooth workflow in the parts office.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver parts to and from dealerships and customers
- Communicate with vendors regarding parts availability and ETAs
- Receive and verify parts shipments
- Process parts invoices and scan documents into dealership system
- Assist technicians with parts requests
- Manage sublet items (wheels, glass, bumpers, etc.)
- Assist with repair order documentation and supplements
- Maintain organized and clean parts office and shelves
- Track and charge fluids and other consumables correctly
- Attend weekly production meetings
- Support Service Advisors and Technicians using dealership systems

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Skills: Previous automotive parts experience preferred
- Attributes: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and positive attitude
- Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
– Legal authorization to work in the United States
– Ability to complete a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and MVR check
– Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, or reach frequently
Work Environment:
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels
- Occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions
