Full Job Description

This is an independent contractor position. The subcontractor will receive a 1099 at the end of each year. Work is based on available contracts which are subject to busy and slow times.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

- Travel to various medical provider sites Ohio and Pennsylvania to retrieve medical records
- Help schedule your onsite appointments
- Communicate project progress with Sherpas personnel
- Interact with provider office staff and Sherpas personnel in a professional manner
- Work with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Compensation is performance based

Job requirements:

- Must reside in Ohio
- Proficient with computers and other hardware (printers, scanners, flash drives)
- Proficient using Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
- Reliable car and willingness to travel around Ohio and surrounding states
- Proficient in medical terminology and medical records
- Proficient in learning new software programs quickly, specifically EHR, on the go without outside help
- Incredibly professional, amiable and well-mannered in stressful situations
- Meticulous and clean in the workplace
- Excellent communicator in person, on the phone and via email
- Must pass HIPAA and FWA training tests
- Must pass a thorough criminal background check and a drug test
- Strong cell and home internet connections
- This position can be very busy in the summer and fall months and slower in the winter and spring months
