Full Job Description

Job Summary

We area locally owned industrial manufacturing company seeking a dependable and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage our daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong attention to detail, and wants to contribute to a growing business.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial reports
Process invoices, payments, and collections
File CAT tax and assist with payroll tax reporting
Support budgeting and cash flow tracking
Assist with inventory and job costing
Coordinate with external accountants for year-end reporting
Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications

3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficiency in Sage BusinessWorks, QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience in a manufacturing or job-costing environment preferred
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively

Education

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
Equivalent experience may be considered
