Full Job Description

Overview

Elite Resort Group, Inc, is seeking an Assistant Controller that is an energetic and a team-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment. A quick learner who will be involved in all aspects accounting and finance. We are looking for an individual who enjoys paying attention to details and analyzing data.

The Assistant Controller will work closely with the Controller and the leadership team to help manage day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and internal financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

-Support month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations

-Prepare month end and annual financial reports

-Maintain accurate general ledger records and account classifications

-Prepare and manage account reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts

-Assist with management reporting budgeting and financial forecasting

-Fixed asset management

-Review financial activity or errors. Inconsistencies and unusual transactions

-Help ensure accounting deadlines are met accurately and on time

-Partner and support Controller/CFO on ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance. Business Administration, or a related field preferred

-2+ years of accounting experience if a Bachelor degree is hot held

-Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation

-Experience working with high transaction volumes is preferred

-Strong Microsoft excel are required

-High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills

-Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multi[;e tasks and meet assigned deadlines

-Effective and professional communication skills and the ability to work well in a team orient3ed environment
