Full Job Description

Concept Solutions is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Information Technology (AIT) Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) Services under the ITIPSS contract vehicle. This position will support Change and Configuration Management activities on a federal program in Oklahoma City. You will work alongside senior CM professionals to maintain configuration baselines, process change requests, support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and ensure compliance with established CM processes. This is an ideal role for an early-career CM professional looking to develop deep expertise in a structured, mentored environment.

Process and perform quality assurance on Change Requests in accordance with ITIL-based change management procedures
Support Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Corrective Action Board (CAB) activities, including agenda preparation, meeting minutes, and action item tracking
Maintain configuration identification records and baselines for designated Configuration Items (CIs)
Perform status accounting to track the state of configuration items throughout their lifecycle
Support configuration audits including Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs)
Assist with repository management and version control activities using tools such as Git or GitLab
Prepare CM-related documentation, reports, and process artifacts
Coordinate with development teams, program management, and stakeholders to ensure change control compliance

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
2–5 years of experience in Configuration Management, Change Management, or a closely related IT discipline
Working knowledge of configuration identification, change control, and status accounting processes
Experience supporting or participating in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)
Familiarity with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) or formal Change Request workflows
Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
U.S. Citizenship required

Experience with ServiceNow (Change Management, CMDB, or ticketing modules)
Exposure to software configuration management tools (Git, GitLab, CA Harvest, or similar)
Active Public Trust or ability to obtain one

The following substitutions may be considered at the Government's discretion:

A Bachelor's degree in a pertinent discipline is generally equivalent to a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
A Master's degree in a pertinent discipline is generally equivalent to a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
For positions requiring a Bachelor's degree, a High School Diploma plus four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be generally adequate.

Primary Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Schedule: Monday through Friday, core hours 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time
Telework may be permitted when determined to be in the best interest of the Government
FAA Personnel Suitability clearance required (AMS 3.14-2)

Salary: $55K to $65K

Pay: $58,632.57 - $65,000.00 per year
