POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the University Hospitals Trust (UHT), the Inventory & Equipment Technician oversees equipment, materials, supplies, and property assets. They ensure that our maintenance and operations teams have the tools, materials, and equipment they need to service our facilities efficiently. This role ensures clinical continuity and space compliance by managing PAR levels, scheduling minor equipment repairs, auditing physical inventory, and coordinating vendor services across multiple facility locations
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Receive Deliveries of Ordered Items
- Open deliveries
- Match items received to the packing slip/delivery ticket
- Verify items received against original order
- If item is for a tech – update the work order that items have arrived
- If the item is for stock – place item in the appropriate location in the inventory room or attic stock
- Notify purchasing of any discrepancies with the delivery
Maintain Inventory Rooms
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the inventory rooms.
- Dusting shelves
- Keeping items in the correct location
- Audit inventory and request restock orders when needed
Maintain tool Cage
- Maintain inventory list of tools/items in the cage
- Upkeep of the tools – clean and organize tools, cabinets, and shelves
Maintain Tool Cart Inventory
- Keep spreadsheet of the tools assigned to each technician
- Update spreadsheet when new tools are assigned or technicians return tools that they no longer use.
- Perform inventory of tool carts every quarter
Maintain Water Remediation Equipment
- Keep spreadsheet of the water remediation equipment
- Includes item description, serial number, and storage location
- Upkeep of water remediation equipment
- Clean, repair, and/or request replacement parts
- Inventory equipment quarterly and verifying items are in the assigned location.
Attic Stock
- Maintain inventory levels in attic stock
- Keep area clean and free of items that do not belong
- Receive materials from construction managers of left over project materials
- Verify items received against Material Transmittal Form
- Designate location for storage in attic stock in new items
- Create in-house item numbers and signage for new items
Trust Tower Annex
- Maintain storage space for UHAT items
- Coordinate with Construction team for contractor lay-down space
- Meet contractors to allow access to the lay-down areas
Desired Certification Valid OK Driver’s License

Required
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred
- Previous mailroom, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience advantageous
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and ability to quickly learn new software applications
- Experience with office equipment including PCs, copiers, scanners, and telephones
- Basic knowledge of purchasing and shipping procedures
- Familiarity with inventory management programs

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Professional email and telephone correspondence skills
- Ability to interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels, vendors, and the public
