Full Job Description

Come work with our amazing team! Lunches are catered most days of the week! We work half a day on Fridays!

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Schedule patients’ appointments in the scheduling/EMR system.
Update referrals and obtain authorization for future patient appointments.
Communicate with patients, staff, insurance companies and other physician offices as needed during the scheduling process.
Resolve problems related to the scheduling processes as they arise.
Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
Other duties and projects as assigned by management.
Front desk coverage - check in/out patients, collect copay's, verify demographics, scan in insurance cards, end of day collection verification.
May work at any of our three Clinic Locations. (S. OKC, Nichols Hills, Yukon).
Flexibility in work location

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

No Experience Required – minimum of 6 months experience in medical office setting preferred

Enthusiastic and positive, team player, willing to help others

Understands relevant laws and best practices
Confident and comfortable in a clinical environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be well-spoken and exhibit good writing skills.
Highly organized and capable of effective prioritizing and multi-tasking
Ability to read, write and comprehend documents and policy/procedure manuals.
Understanding of specific policies such as HIPAA regulations.
