POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Manager & Property Inspector to join our team. In this role you'll split your time between keeping our local market office running smoothly and conducting thorough property inspections in the field, ensuring our residential properties meet the highest standards both inside and out. As part of the role, we will provide a company phone, equipment, and mileage reimbursement to support your work both in the office and in the field.
This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, tech-savvy, and looking to grow within the real estate industry. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in learning the property management space or for licensed real estate agents and similar professionals seeking supplemental income while gaining hands-on experience in the field.
Your primary goal in this role is twofold: keep the office organized and running efficiently while supporting the team's administrative and operational needs, and identify maintenance concerns, potential hazards, and code violations through comprehensive property inspections that support informed decisions around property upkeep and renovation needs. You will also be responsible for miscellaneous office and field tasks as needed and will serve as the company's representative both in the office and on-site, ensuring a professional presence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage office operations, and supplies.
- Handle a variety of administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Greet visitors, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team member.
- Conduct and prepare thorough inspections of both occupied and unoccupied residential properties.
- Capture detailed photos and provide detailed written documentation of property conditions.
- Utilize special equipment and tools to test and evaluate various property components.
- Verify the completion and quality of work performed by third-party vendors.
- Identify safety hazards, property damage, and potential future maintenance issues.
- Post eviction notices on properties in compliance with company protocols and legal requirements.
- Create efficient commuting routes by prioritizing tasks based on importance and urgency.
- Perform daily/weekly vehicle inspections.
- Attend/participate in weekly meetings.
- Serve as the company's representative in the office and in the field, meeting with third-party individuals as needed.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Reliability: You’re someone we can count on to manage your schedule and show up on time.
- Comfortable with a 50/50 split of both in office work and work in the field.
- A Keen Eye: You notice the small things that others might miss.
- A Valid Driver’s License: You’re comfortable with travel and enjoy spending time behind the wheel.
- Great Communication: You can translate what you see on-site into clear, professional notes for our property managers.
What You Can Look Forward To:
Limitless Learning & Growth: Uncapped professional development opportunities, including weekly company-wide sessions focused on both personal and professional growth.
Comprehensive Benefits Package: Substantial health, dental, and vision coverage to keep you and your family well taken care of.
