Full Job Description

Greets all patients and visitors to ensure a friendly, welcoming and professional clinic atmosphere
Checks in and registers patients in a timely manner, entering demographics and verifies patient insurance information
Explains financial requirements and collects payments for office visits and clinic procedures
Schedules patient appointments, canceling and or rescheduling if necessary
Coordinates with clinic staff to ensure a positive patient flow and waiting room experience
Reviews patients paperwork at check-out, facilitates post visit follow-up appointments and coordinates any outside diagnostic testing
Responds to patient inquiries and complete assigned tasks timely
Answers telephones, forwards telephone messages, manage faxes, copying and scanning as needed

Other duties as assigned

Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with patients and other employees
Organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly
Time management skills to prioritize and complete a side variety of tasks throughout the day
Patience and listening skills to respond appropriate and interact positively with upset patients
Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all patients, such as being personable and attentive
Be firm about collecting payments from patients
Checking in and checking out all patients for appointments
Give paperwork for patients to fill out, collect insurance, gather any important documents and electronic health records
Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
Answering emails and other electronic messages as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
