Job Description: Are you a skilled Fiber Splicer looking to join a dynamic team that's at the forefront of the telecommunications industry? If you're passionate about fiber optics and have a knack for precision, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

As a Fiber Splicer at Deeply Digital, you will be responsible for:

Fiber Optic Splicing: Efficiently splice and terminate fiber optic cables to ensure optimal performance and minimal signal loss.
Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot fiber optic issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize service disruptions.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks to guarantee that splicing work meets industry standards and our company's high-quality expectations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of splice locations, cable routes, and other relevant data for future reference.
Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on splicing equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the network engineering and operations teams to coordinate and execute fiber optic projects efficiently.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience in fiber optic splicing, with a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as FOA (Fiber Optic Association) or equivalent are a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using splicing equipment, fusion splicing, and OTDR testing.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in splice work.
Safety: Committed to following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Travel: Be willing to travel regionally inside of Western Colorado. Overnight trips are common for this position.
Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including working in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
