Full Job Description

Western Skyways is seeking an Accounting Administrative Assistant for our Accounts Receivable Department. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records and who is very detail oriented and organized. It offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the continued success of our business.

Responsibilities

Assist accounts receivable manager.
Daily reconciliation of bank accounts.
Prepare and record bank deposits and customer payments.
Maintain bank registers.
Collaborate with office staff to ensure billing accuracy.
Responsible for processing credit card payments on all parts and engine sales.
Handles collections on all engines and A/R aging report.
Manage data entry and maintain accurate records.
Support day-to-day office operations and special projects.

Requirements

1-3 years experience in office operations and accounting support.
Working knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and account reconciliation procedures.
Excellent math skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing tasks.
Proficiency in Excel and Word.
Excellent communication skills and follow-through.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Team player with the capacity to work independently.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
