Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Manager / Bookkeeper to join our team of highly skilled arborists. We are a small local tree company with deep roots, having served over 4,000 clients in the Montrose, Ridgway and Ouray area over the past 11 years. For over 6 years we have been voted the best landscaping/tree business in the valley.

Duties

Oversee daily office operations at our shop and office in Montrose, Colorado (some hybrid remote work is possible)
Manage client communications.
Manage client scheduling and invoicing through our integrated software.
Handle bookkeeping and payroll duties through Quickbooks.
Morning meetings with operations manager and crew leads to help streamline daily logistics.
Human resources tasks, such as on-boarding employees.
Support with marketing
Support with office systems refinement
Qualifications
Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with a strong background in bookkeeping and financial record keeping.
Proficiency in QuickBooks or comparable accounting software is essential.
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams or managing staff effectively.
Excellent communication skills with a professional phone etiquette and ability to interact confidently with vendors, clients, and team members.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in event planning and vendor management is highly desirable.
Knowledge of human resources practices including payroll processing and employee onboarding.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
