Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist who holds a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or is willing to obtain one to work every Friday and cover for staff when on vacation or sick. This role combines advanced medical imaging expertise with the ability to operate a commercial vehicle, supporting our mobile imaging services and emergency response initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging, possess strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and demonstrate a proactive approach to patient care in fast-paced environments such as urgent care, emergency rooms, and trauma centers. Join us to make a meaningful impact by providing critical imaging services while supporting logistical operations through CDL capabilities.

Duties

Perform advanced CT scans, with precision and attention to detail.
Apply thorough knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques to ensure safe and effective imaging processes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams at VA centers to facilitate prompt diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.
Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment
Support logistical operations by safely driving a commercial vehicle to transport imaging equipment or supplies as needed, maintaining compliance with CDL regulations.
Assist in emergency situations when needed.
Maintain meticulous records of all procedures performed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Skills

Extensive experience with CT diagnostic medical imaging
Strong understanding of emergency medicine protocols .
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation methods essential for accurate imaging interpretation.
Ability to operate complex imaging equipment while maintaining aseptic technique and patient safety standards.
Valid CDL license or willingness to obtain one; familiarity with transportation regulations for safe vehicle operation.
Ability to lift atleast 50Lbs.
Ablility to walk long distances, bend and twist
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients about procedures.
Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments.
