Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Senior Property Manager to lead our property management team and oversee the day-to-day operations of a diverse portfolio of residential properties. This role is vital in ensuring exceptional tenant experiences, maintaining property standards, and optimizing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, excellent leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of legal regulations and property management tools. Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, and financial performance.
Oversee lease or rental agreement management, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws.
Utilize property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS to track data entry, maintenance requests, and financial transactions accurately.
Lead and develop a team of property staff, providing training on conflict management, customer service, and administrative procedures.
Coordinate property maintenance activities, including facilities management and vendor relations to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
Handle client communication with professionalism via phone etiquette, email correspondence, and in-person interactions.
Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and implement upselling strategies for additional services or lease renewals to maximize revenue.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms while maintaining high-quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections using property management tools to identify issues early and implement corrective actions promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential properties.
Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative procedures.
Proficiency in Yardi, OneSite, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and other property management tools such as Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
Excellent customer service skills combined with effective negotiation abilities for lease agreements and vendor contracts.
Experience managing budgets, financial reports, data entry tasks, filing systems, and facilities management processes.
Exceptional conflict management skills with the ability to handle tenant disputes professionally while adhering to legal standards.
Office experience including phone etiquette, administrative support functions like filing and data entry is essential.
Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance requests is preferred.
