Position Overview
The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing the tax compliance and planning functions of the organization. This role will involve managing tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing strategic tax advice to optimize the company's tax position.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns.
Oversee tax compliance processes and ensure timely submission of all required documents.
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding tax-related issues.
Conduct research on tax regulations and stay updated on changes relevant to the industry.
Assist in tax audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (Master's prefered)
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax management.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
