Haven of Ridgeview is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing leadership team as our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This leadership role works closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee the daily operations of the nursing department
Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing services while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
Serve as the facility's Infection Preventionist, developing, implementing, and monitoring the Infection Prevention and Control Program in accordance with CMS and CDC guidelines
Conduct infection surveillance, investigate trends, educate staff, and lead infection prevention initiatives to reduce healthcare-associated infections
Oversee the facility's Wound Care Program, including wound assessments, treatment recommendations, documentation, and monitoring resident progress
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize wound healing and resident outcomes
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois (required)
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting required
Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Experience in infection prevention, wound care, or quality improvement preferred.
