In-Gear Media is looking for a motivated and organized Production Assistant to join our content team. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who wants to build a career in video production, content creation, and digital media.
The primary responsibility of this role is supporting our production workflow by organizing footage, managing files, assisting with content delivery, and handling basic editing tasks. You'll play a critical role in keeping projects organized and moving efficiently from production through post-production.
This position includes hands-on training and a clear growth path into larger creative responsibilities such as shooting content, editing projects, and eventually owning productions from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Organize, upload, and archive video footage after shoots
- Maintain structured file systems and project organization
- Sort, label, and back up media assets
- Trigger and manage workflow processes by distributing files to editors, producers, and team members
- Assist with content delivery and asset management
- Perform basic photo/video editing tasks and project preparation
- Create and maintain project documentation
- Support the content team with administrative and production-related tasks
- Help ensure projects stay organized and on schedule
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with computers and digital file management
- Ability to learn new software and workflows quickly
- Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive
- Strong communication skills
- Interest in video production, content creation, or digital media
Preferred (Not Required)
- Basic experience with Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software
- Familiarity with cloud storage systems and file management workflows
- Previous experience in media, content creation, photography, or video production
