Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, process-driven individual to join our team as an Account Operations Specialist. This is an entry-level position designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in account management within a B2B environment.

This role is the foundation of our Account Management team. You will learn the business from the ground up—mastering order processing, systems, and internal workflows—before advancing into a customer-facing Account Manager role.

This is NOT a call center or traditional customer service job. This is a structured, behind-the-scenes operational role where accuracy, discipline, and attention to detail are critical to success.

Core Responsibilities

- Accurate order entry and data management in ERP system (Infor)
- Maintain and update customer and order information
- Track and follow up on orders, backorders, and shipments
- Coordinate internally with scheduling, logistics, and purchasing teams
- Prepare and organize spreadsheets, reports, and documentation
- Support internal team members with administrative tasks
- Handle limited, controlled customer-related tasks (such as forwarding documents)

Performance Expectations

- Maintain less than 1% error rate
- Process 10–20 orders per day with both speed and accuracy
- Follow defined processes without cutting corners
- Maintain strong attendance and reliability
- Demonstrate continuous learning and improvement

What This Role Is / Is Not

This role IS:
- Process-driven and detail-focused
- A training ground for future Account Management roles
- A critical operational role supporting customer relationships behind the scenes

This role IS NOT:
- A call center or inbound phone role
- A quoting or pricing role
- A shortcut into account management (advancement is earned)

Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid Excel skills (data entry, formulas, sorting/filtering)
- Comfortable working in structured systems (ERP experience a plus)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle repetitive work with consistency
- Basic math skills (unit conversions, simple calculations)
- High accountability and reliability

Growth Path

This position is designed as a 12–18 month development role. High performers will have the opportunity to advance into an Account Manager role, taking on direct responsibility for customer relationships and business growth.
