Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-time/ PRN Radiology Technician, where your expertise in medical imaging and diagnostic evaluation will play a vital role in patient care. In this energized position, you will operate a C-arm to produce high-quality radiographs, assisting physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Your proficiency and strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology will ensure precise imaging procedures.

Duties

Operate a C-arm.
Apply aseptic techniques to maintain sterile environments during invasive procedures or when handling sensitive equipment.
Collaborate with medical teams to perform diagnostic radiology assessments, ensuring images meet quality standards for accurate interpretation.
Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient information, and technical data while adhering to confidentiality protocols.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including radiation safety protocols and proper use of protective equipment.
Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
Assist with other OR duties within scope, as requested.

Experience

Prior work in urgent care settings or emergency rooms demonstrating ability to perform under pressure.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients and capture diagnostically valuable images.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to radiology and diagnostic procedures.
Demonstrated understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices during invasive or sterile procedures.
