Full Job Description

We are looking for an individual from the Omaha, Council Bluffs or Lincoln metro areas for a tax staff accountant position who wants to use their critical thinking abilities to help clients solve problems and build rewarding business relationships by providing exceptional service to clients.

Tasks will include:

Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
Preparing individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns
Calculating tax extension or estimate payments
Tax and/or GAAP research
Miscellaneous other projects as assigned

Ideally, this person will have the following qualifications:

Effective time management
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well with a team and independently
A problem-solving attitude with a willingness to take initiative
Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines

A bachelor's degree in accounting or related experience is required. 2-3 years public accounting tax experience preferred. Quickbooks and Microsoft Office experience a plus.

Salary based on experience.
