Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join Grant Dental Plaza. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient treatment plans, ensuring accurate dental coding, and facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, coding systems, dental insurance, and the ability to handle dental records efficiently.

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient treatment plans by collaborating with healthcare providers and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
Manage dental billing processes, ensuring timely submission of claims and follow-up on outstanding collections.
Maintain organized dental records in compliance with regulations and standards.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options, insurance coverage, and billing inquiries.
Assist in the training of new staff on medical office procedures and coding systems.
Stay updated on changes in dental coding regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

Familiarity with ADA coding.
Experience in dental billing, collections, and managing dental records.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and healthcare professionals.
Previous experience in a treatment coordinator or similar role is preferred but not required.
